Wikkistix Numbers & Counting helps solidify the association between number forms and their values while also building finger strength and dexterity. Chickyboom is a fun way to refine gross motor skills while learning about weight, balance, physics and simple addition. Set the chickies and bails of hay on the plank so they balance. Then, take turns removing the pieces one by one until the chickies fall and go BOOM! The brilliance behind this game is that each chick and bail of hay is marked with a number that corresponds with its weight. Show your child that a smaller chick can balance out a larger chick depending on where it’s placed on the plank.
